One of the biggest challenges for bricks and mortar businesses is how to convert the window shoppers into customers. In most cases, the interested public never makes it to your customer list. Some businesses might use special offers or contests to try to capture the information, but still I think most just slip under the radar.
With the Internet based business that I’m starting, I can do a better job of capturing the window shoppers. I can give out free reports, invite them into the community (through a blog or a forum), give them access to valuable free analysis, software, downloadable graphics, coupons (discounts) and give them a peek at what is behind the curtain once they become a customer.
How about you? What are you doing with your business to draw in the window shoppers?
