Blog

I never thought I’d say this..but I need content for this site and for Tax Loopholes.  I’ve been looking into key word phrase feeds from Google and just right this second signed up with some key word phrases.

The problem is that I run out of fresh ideas, but targetted feeds get me going again.  Anybody else out there with daily (sort of) blogs?  How do you keep the ideas flowing?

I have only been doing this for a month and I struggle with content. The first two weeks was just getting used to writing and moving around my site. I have a new game plan though. I am going to do a series of blogs on one subject and then move on to another.

What do you mean by signing up for key word phrases?

My wife and I work out early every morning. We either listen to a speaker or watch a dvd like The Secret. It seems like if we open our minds up, ideas start flowing to us. This might sound silly but I keep repeating this quote from The Secret. “I am receiving money making ideas” That seems to open my mind up.

We also do long walks together. As we walk we brainstorm ideas about our businesses. We bring our cell phone so we can record our ideas.

The challenge is to remember to playback our ideas.

Thanks for the “kick start your creativity” ideas.

For the newsfeeds, go to Google and type in some key phrases and then search with “news” (option on the top of the page. I’m still working on what mine would be. For example, I did a search on “income taxes” and received hundreds of articles.

When you get your key phrase, scroll to the bottom and you’ll see an option to subscribe to newsfeeds for that key word.

Another option is to find websites that you like that has relevant content. Subscribe via RSS for those.

If you don’t check in at http://thefastlanetomillions.com yet, you’ll want to start going to that site. Good information on eBiz technical things. In fact, that’s where I met Jorge.

Here’s a good thread on RSS feeds: http://www.thefastlanetomillions.com/showthread.php?p=46098#post46098
