Focus

Blog

It seems like my key word is “focus.”  Right now I’m trying to juggle my CPA practice (and it’s two days before tax returns or extensions are due), TaxLoopholes (in a changing market), and this web project - both at an individual website level and a ‘meta level’. The biggest challenge is that I keep second guessing myself for the websites.

Which one should we focus on next? What’s the profit model for it? Should I become an affiliate of other people’s products or create products & have people be affiliates of mine?  (Maybe the answer is both)

It’s great to have questions, but today I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with the choices. My friend Megan (born Canadian) took her Oath of Allegiance to the USA on Friday. She blogged about what that meant to her and the biggest thing was that while she had lived and worked in three countries, it was only in the USA that she was able to conceive of the thought that she could have a business. I think sometimes all the choices we get living in the USA can just be too much sometimes.

I know tomorrow I’ll be back in focus and moving forward. But, today, I’m feeling a little uncertain and unfocussed.

Anyone else get like that with a new project?
