A mastermind is a group of like-minded individuals who get together for a common purpose.  Ideal size is 5 – 8 people.  Over the years I’ve developed a lot of mastermind tools for accelerating your mastermind results.  So, this is a tool that I feel very confident in using for the benefit of everyone who joins in.

Jorge flew up to meet with us and the first thing we did (after giving him a little down time for jet lag) was have a mastermind session.

With the permission of my group, we all decided agreed to have complete transparency on our projects.  In fact, we even taped our very first session.  It’s a way to hold ourselves accountable because we want to make this the cornerstone of changing how we all do business.

We all had our own businesses, but were in different places and with different challenges.  The mastermind’s plan was to start with Step One:  Finding Your E-Center for each of us.

I had already decided what my E Center was and had begun working on Step Two:  Strategies and Tactics.  But, it was good to go back and review what we needed to cover to find the E Center.  And, I had an unexpected bonus when I realized I’d forgotten a basic marketing and pricing strategy.  (Totally 101 stuff that I should have remembered.)

Our group was:  Megan Hughes (www.BusinessFirstFormations.com), Gabe Mendoza (AZ Data), Jorge Manzitti (www.LatAmConnect.com), Bill Bourbannais (www.wlbaccounting.com) , my son David Kennedy-Cooley (who quietly sat in) and me.

Everyone of us found new strategies for our business.  We shared leads, references, ideas and supersized each other’s ideas.  Best of all, we were energized beyond belief at the end of the day.
